Paddleboard Yoga

One Hour - Year Round

Encased in stone and protected from the elements, the thermal heat and calm water make it possible to do Paddleboard Yoga on any day, in any month of the year. In the water, tiny effervescent bubbles of CO2 exfoliate and rejuvenate dry skin while the hot mineral water relaxes muscles and lowers blood pressure. These spa-like elements, combined with a repertoire of yoga positions, makes for a truly unique experience, to say the least. You can not do Paddleboard Yoga anywhere else in the world in a 10,000 year old crater!

What to wear?

  • There is a changing room at the hot spring, but no shower.
  • Wear something you don’t mind getting wet in like a bathing suit or shorts and a sports bra.
  • Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
  • If it is a really cold day, the air temperature in the crater can be 60-65 degrees. The crater is covered in the winter, however it needs to vent some steam so there is some airflow. Some guests like to bring a rash guard or long sleeve synthetic shirt and yoga leggings to wear in the winter. The water temp is 95-98 degrees year round and we do a lot of poses that involve getting in the water.

What to expect?

  • This company is called Park City Yoga Adventures for a reason – it’s always an adventure.
  • Anyone can do Paddleboard Yoga and we will tailor the experience to the ability of the group as best we can.
  • Expect a work out and a challenge for your balance. This is yoga with a splash!
  • Expect to have fun and know that doing yoga on a paddleboard is immediate feedback for your alignment in the yoga pose - even experienced yogis will be challenged.
  • The water is 65 feet deep. We attach you to the board with a leash around your ankle for safety, but if you can not swim or have a fear of water, we do have life jackets available for you.
